The Coach Behind
AJ Core Performance
With over 17 years of coaching and performance training experience, I take a whole-athlete approach to development — helping athletes build confidence, focus, resilience, and composure on and off the field.
As a former athlete, I understand the pressure, self-doubt, and emotional challenges that come with competition. That experience, combined with years of coaching athletes of all ages, allows me to connect with athletes beyond the physical side of performance.
I am a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS-NSCA), Behavior Change Specialist, and Mental Performance Coach, and I coach field hockey and youth flag football athletes.
As a mom of 4 boys in the North Tampa area, I also understand the real-life demands athletes and families are navigating every day.
My focus is helping athletes build strong minds and strong identities in sport, while developing the confidence and discipline to perform consistently.
Because performance is more than physical ability. It’s mindset, habits, emotional control, and how an athlete responds when things don’t go as planned.
The goal is simple: help athletes perform with confidence in sport and carry those same skills into life.
