AJ Core Performance began in 2008 as a personal training business, helping clients move stronger and feel better. Over the years, I specialized in core and pelvic floor restoration for moms returning to exercise after the marathon of pregnancy, labor, and delivery, because I truly believe the core is your body’s true foundation—encompassing not just your abs, but your glutes, hips, and pelvic floor. This foundation shapes how your whole body moves, performs, and resists injury.
My approach to training grew from this foundation. In 2019, I transitioned to training athletes, bringing the principles of core function, stability, and movement efficiency to runners, youth athletes, and active adults. My method is designed for anyone who wants to perform at their best without getting stuck in the injury loop—because I know what it’s like personally.
I was once a youth athlete with many physical and mental setbacks and injuries, and now, as an avid and competitive runner, I’ve seen how skipping this foundational work leads to frustration and injuries. That’s why my method focuses on:
Core and pelvic floor strength as the base of all movement
Mechanically sound running form and movement patterns
Injury resilience for athletes of all ages, from youth to adults
Performance and confidence in sports, recreation, and daily life
Fueling for energy and recovery to support strength, stamina, and long-term health
Whether you’re a youth athlete, a competitive runner, or someone who just wants to enjoy sports and activity without setbacks, you need a strong, powerful, injury-resilient body. That’s what I help you build—and that’s why I do what I do.
NSCA- Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, RunDNA -Certified Gait Analyst, CES -Pelvis Pro and NASM-CPT/Performance Trainer with over 17 years of experience helping athletes and active individuals move better, reduce injury risk, and perform at a higher level—virtually anywhere or in-person in Tampa.
I specialize in core and hip function, movement efficiency, and injury prevention, creating individualized programs that help athletes and active adults move stronger, perform better, and train with confidence. I focus on the muscles and movement patterns that are often overlooked — the ones that stabilize your body, protect your joints, and allow you to generate power safely.
I also emphasize fueling for energy and performance, teaching clients how to eat to support strength, stamina, recovery, and long-term health — because training without proper fuel limits results.
As a mom of four active boys, I understand busy schedules, long seasons, and the need for sustainable, effective training that fits real life.
My goal is simple: to help you move better, train smarter, fuel your body properly, and perform at your best — whether that’s in sport, running, or everyday life.
